What I've been up to lately? 

Mood and inspiration - Simplicity, yet not boring

It's that time again that I find too much inspiring outfit/detail/streetstyle/.. pictures on the internet. Thereafter I confess that -yes- I do get inspired (as every other woman I guess) online by visiting several blogs, Tumblrs, etc. As I had collected a variety of pictures, I decided to share it with you guys. This blogpost will show you how to make your outfit less or not boring!

MUSIC - Kaytranada x Disclosure

Since the Canadian Kaytranda is one of the best rnb/classic mixers at this moment (let's not forget that he produces his own stuff too) and Disclosure is the perfect electronic music duo from 2013, I couldn't wait to hear their collaboration. So when 'January' came out on Soundcloud I was thrilled. And yeah as I expected it would be, it's a pretty awesome edit.
Already saw Disclosure in July at a Belgian festival (Rock Werchter), their set lasted about an hour (too short though). But I can assure you, that was a hell of a party! Kaytranada on the other hand was in Brussels around May, but I missed that one unfortunately. Next show I'm definitely in.
Perfect timing by the way, almost New Year! Can't wait for 2014.

Collection - Isabel Marant for H&M

The fact that there's a collection coming out from Isabel Marant for H&M is already old news.. but I've got something sweet for you guys.
I've waited unpatiently for this moment.. so finally the Lookbook pictures and all the items of the collection just leaked! I already have a few favorites that got to be in my closet (what did u expect?).  The pieces have a Native American kinda style with some aztec colors and prints. The aztec-printed pants from Isabel Marant who were very popular last year, come back with little updated in this collection.
This whole collection will be in 250 selected stores from November 14, so check it out!

Shaun Ross, the popular, first albino male model who challenges "fashion and beauty standards".

Models with imperfection they also say, well I found him while I was randomly surfing on the internet earlier. Although his "imperfection" I think he's an excellent model with a lot of courage! He stands up for albinos and supports the instagram account "In my skin I win", which is about the beauty beyond what the world can see. Not only is he a model, he's also a dancer and an actor. The African  American Shaun Ross already modeled for Alexander McQueen, Givenchy and he appeared at diffrent music videos from Katy Perry to Beyoncé. Soon he wil also be part of the short film "Tropico" from Lana Del Rey.

The only thing I have left to say (or quote) is Be Unique!

Maison Martin Margiela vs. Converse

After the successful collaboration with H&M last year, Maison Martin Margiela is doing a "team up" with Converse!
They say each pair of Converse sneakers, created by Maison Martin Margiela is completely hand-painted (a little sneakpeak on the video below). But for now we have to stay a little more patient until September 11, between 7-10PM in New York City...

Sky Fereira x Eleven Paris

The Fall/Winter campaign from Eleven Paris is out! Love the video starring the popular teenage singer and fashion icon Sky Fereira and Lenny Kravitz the known American rocksinger. The French fashion label chose this two singers very conscious because they wanted to radiate a sort of edginess that's located in this Fall/Winter collection. Think a little bit of rock and roll, soul, leather jackets and dark colors.

OOTD - printed shorts

Enjoying the last summer-ish days in September! Today I'm wearing comfortable printed shorts with a basic black t-shirt and heels. I totally love these heels that I recently bought at Éram in the last remaining sales (it was a 50% discount!!). Wanted such basic black ones for a long time, but couldn't find the perfect ones (or it was to expensive), and then me and my mum found these accidentally while we were shopping in Antwerp. What a luck haha.

TREND - Pied-de-Poule

A -not to miss trend- this coming season are the "Pied-de-Poule" prints! Think about jackets, scarves, skirts, handbags, sweaters, etc. and combine it with a simple black touch (don't make a colorparade with it). You also don't necessarily have to choose for a black and white print, you can go for any color you like as long you match it right with your outfit.
So play a little bit with this trend, because it's a musthave!
