TREND - Jelly sandals

A trend which you can't help but notice this summer are the "Jelly sandals" in all sorts of colors. Already have seen a lot of these the last two months, so I decided to do a blogpost about it.
The popular jelly sandals are not new, before used (especially by children) as a normal sandal made of rubber that could get wet without wrecking it. A totally 90s hit!

My opinion about it? Well.. first I just saw it as a sandal for children, and didn't like it but now I'm getting a fan more and more! My favorite color are the black ones, because they are not so remarkable and easy to combine with a lot of outfits!

OOTD - Black and red

Today I'm wearing one of my favorite necklaces, it's a vintage red one from my mom. My dad bought this at a little amateur art shop 10 years ago and yes it's timeless! Thereafter is my outfit is basic and black, my shoes on the other hand are completely red too.
(And oh yeah if you've noticed my colorful nails, well my right hand is just basic dark brown and my other one is silver with a dark brown touch.. just testing out some stuff.. haha)

Frizz-Ease Secret Agent Perfecting Crème - John Frieda

Hey guys!
Today I want to talk about my latest hair product that I bought at Paris last month. I already did a post about my citytrip there but not yet about this "Frizz-Ease Secret Agent perfecting crème" from John Frieda, because I wanted to test it first! (like always)
This perfecting crème for straight or curly hairtypes was only 10€ at Sephora and it seemed good, so I gave it a shot! You have to apply it to dried hair and just rub through it, especially to dry ends. It would "instantly smooth your hair and camouflage dry, frizzy ends". As I tested it for a few times already, I'm pretty happy about it! I have that typical frizzy, curly hair so basically I need a lot of hair products... This crème was - as I thought it would be - a perfect finishing crème, it made my hair shine more and the frizz was less. The other facts that it has a UV filter and it smoothes my dry ends makes it even better.

So if you were hesitating to buy it.. just do it!

MUSIC - Picasso Baby

Jay Z premiered yesterday "Picasso Baby: A performance Art Film", and I'm a fan! Already loved the new album Magna Carta Holy Grail - although there were also many dislikes - and yes I couldn't wait for that much discussed art film. Jay Z explains in it how related art and music (here Hip Hop) is and that concerts are pretty much performance art. Rap is an expression like art and Jay Z feels that rap is thinking out loud.
The fact that he performes his song "Picasso Baby" at a New York city art gallery full of energy and interaction with the invitees, makes it not just an ordinary music video. The limits of an average music video are totally exceeded, allowing that we can now talk about a short film.
In addition were most of the invitees popular actors, artists, fashion designers, performers, etc., (including
Diana Widmaier Picasso, the granddaughter of the great artist himself) the group was small and made it an intimate performance.

Cara Delevingne gets lucky!

In the Vogue UK September issue 2013 Cara Delevingne and Pharrel Williams will steal the show together!
The shoot "Born Lucky" with the 20-year-old British Burberry model Cara and the 40-year-old American rapper Pharrel Williams is - in my opinion - the perfect match! A contrast between the two edgy stars of 2013, America vs the UK.

Review Tomorrowland 2013

Like I already told in another blogpost, I attended Tomorrowland for three days last month.
I had many, high expectations and they came out. You can't imagine what a big, international, mad and hot festival it was! I enjoyed every minute, hour and day of it.
Given that it's next year the 10th anniversary and I really want to go back, I'm surely going to Tomorrowland 2014!
I'll try to take you all on a journey to Tomorrowland with the following pictures I took.
